The boys are getting big, and frequently stress me out beyond what I ever imagined I could handle… in fact, while I was taking these pictures, I was certain my eyeballs were going to pop out of my head if I had to say “no, sit down please”, “don’t lick your brother” or  ”gross, don’t eat your boogers”  one more time.  And yes, I said each of those multiple times… ha!   HOWEVER despite the stress and craziness that surrounds me, these guys are the coolest little people I have ever known.  Every day I’m amazed by the intelligence they display, the love they show and the way they magically melt my heart even after sending my blood pressure through the roof…

While they were holding the camera, Liam kept saying “mama, I’m a Fuhtogger, you a fuhtogger too?  and papa and Mr. Chris and Miss Jen?”  (Mr. Chris and Miss Jen are our good friends over at Jen Stewart Photography)

Seriously, how CUTE is that?  Let me answer that for you:  It’s SO cute.  haha.

I promise you this, every time I email with Nyla, I’m overcome with happy.  There’s so much positive, happy energy radiating from this girl, I can hardly contain myself.   Then there’s Greg… so patient, so go-with-the-flow and he LOVES this [...]]]> I don’t know if there are words for how sweet this couple is.

I promise you this, every time I email with Nyla, I’m overcome with happy.  There’s so much positive, happy energy radiating from this girl, I can hardly contain myself.   Then there’s Greg… so patient, so go-with-the-flow and he LOVES this girl.  You can tell he does just by watching them interact.

I happened to meet them through the MOST fun group of ladies and gentlemans (hehe) that we had the opportunity to photograph last year, and I’m WAY excited to continue the fun.

Despite the fact that it’s supposed to be winter, we were able to get together, frolic outdoors for a couple of hours and hardly feel any chill at all… AND we got an amazing sunset.  I know we need the rain, but I LOOOOVE this springtime weather.  Seriously.

I am so excited for this wedding, and becoming better friends with these two.  They’re just amazing.

Because of this random bout of happy (yet not-so-happy since [...]]]> I was feeling anxious and yucky and alone the other day, and had the sudden thought to grab my camera and do something to inspire me… Something to make me feel less icky.
I found it.  And it was right in my front yard.

Because of this random bout of happy (yet not-so-happy since we actually need the rain) sunshine,  our rosebush bloomed several buds.  The cold night weather had frozen and burned the outside petals on several of the flowers, but this one was left unscathed:

I don’t normally like roses, but this one was sweet and lovely.
I processed with some textures, but the bokeh is natural.

With the onset of rain finally, this will be a happy little reminder of the sunny stretch we had this month.

YAYY!  This is the first little girl out of 4 young guys in the [...]]]> Ok, so we had a good run with the only grandbabies in the family, and it was fun for a while, but I’m SO excited the boys have a new cousin to play with and what’s more, it’s a girl!

YAYY!  This is the first little girl out of 4 young guys in the family, so this little chickie is going to be S P O I L E D.

Congratulations to my sister Katie and Brother Juan on their new little munckin.  She’s so sweet.  I’m excited to see what the future holds for her.

Lynnette — you’re a dang [...]]]> Who cares if you can or not.  Who cares if you feel silly.  Who cares if you’re a grown woman wearing a TuTu in 30 degree weather at 10 o’clock at night?  Who cares?  Dance.  Jump. Frolic. Cavort.  Be silly, have fun.  Life is SO too short not to.
