Autumn Mini-Sessions

Hi friends, the time has come for the “last minute” Christmas portrait sessions.  I know it’s only the beginning of November, and we still have almost 2 months until Christmas, but when it comes to scheduling/planning/coordinating and successfully executing a family portrait session in time for Christmas, well… it’s close to the deadline.

We have Mid-week full sessions still available, but we also have several mini-session dates coming up with availability.

Sunday, November 13 –  Folsom Area, Natural lighting

Saturday, November 19 – Downtown Sacramento, Natural lighting

Saturday, November 26th – Shingle Springs Natural lighting/Studio

Sunday, November 27th – Roseville area, Natural lighting

Friday, December 2 – Shingle Springs, Natural lighting/Studio

Friday, December 9 – Shingle Springs, Natural lighting/Studio

I am so happy to help you coordinate and work through preparing for your session, what to wear, how to help kids get ready to have their pictures taken, and how to make it a fun experience for everyone.

Please email Lauren@vidamiaphoto.com to reserve your date and timeslot!

The fine print… (but really it’s the same size as everything else)

Mini sessions are 75.00 for a 20 minute portrait session and will include one (1) digital image for Christmas Card/gift size.  Printable up to 5×7, Digital Transfer Only.

All other product and digital media is additional.  Mini session clients should prepare to spend between $200 and $400 between session price, print product, and digital media.
Session price is required at contract signing to hold your spot, as it is based on a first come, first serve process.

Baby E.E.

This pretty girl belongs to our sweet friends Mark and Samantha.  I’ve waited a long time for this family to have a baby!!
I’m so proud of them and excited to see the way they interact with her as parents, and SUPER excited to watch her grow up alongside our own little people!

I see, therefore I am.

“Words alone cannot express my passion and love for what I do. I see, therefore I am! If you were to ask me what I do for a living I would tell you that I am blessed with the awesome responsibility of creatively interpreting the fleeting events of our lives. For me, it is all about gently catching personal memories of a given place and time and precious moments spent with special people. It is all about handing these moments back to be gently cradled in our memories and shared with others, eventually to become our legacy.” - Michael Davis

Agreed, Michael Davis, agreed.

Fall Family Portraits — Reese Edition

I haven’t seen this family since before they were a family… of course social media makes it possible to keep touch, but I hadn’t seen any of them in real-life in FOR EH VER.

I was so excited when we got to hang out and play with some pictures.
I got a good solid workout running all over fields, through grass, over rocks and…and…and… you name it, and it was so worth it, because I got some amazing images of them.

So, without any more blahbittyblah… here’s a little smidgeon of their oh so beautiful sesssion.

Halloween Sneeks!

Thank you to everyone who came out and played at our house today.

You guys are wonderful and it was so fun catching up and hanging out with everyone.

These are just the beginning… There will be SO many  more from today.  Please feel free to copy download and share these pictures with your friends/families.  If you do, though, please don’t crop or remove the watermark.  I tried making it discreet so it wouldn’t hurt the whole picture.

More are coming in a bit.  Stay tuned!
